How long does shipping take?

After receipt of payment, the consignment will be dispatched on the following day at the latest if all items are in stock, and usually on the same day if payment is credited by 4 p.m. After that, it depends on the selected shipping method. Within Germany, letters and parcels usually reach the recipient within 1-3 working days, but the parcel services do not guarantee transit times for regular parcels.

Can I change an order after I placed it?

Please send us an email to mail@riesenmikroben.de. If your order hasn't been shipped yet, changes are usually possible without any problems.

I have not received a confirmation email

Some mail providers classify our confirmation emails as spam. Please check the corresponding folder in your mailbox. Also check whether the storage quota of your mailbox is exhausted. Occasionally, typing errors happen when entering the email address. In this case, we cannot contact you but have to wait until you get in touch with us.

How can I pay?

Payment is made by bank transfer in advance or by credit/debit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express). We maintain a bank account with N26 Bank. Within the SEPA area (EU, Switzerland, Great Britain, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway), SEPA credit transfers in euros are executed at the price of a domestic transfer and credited after at most one banking day.

Payments by SEPA real-time credit transfer (SCT Inst) can also be made to this account; the amount is credited within just a few seconds 24/7.

We process card payments through Stripe. Your credit card details are not transferred to our server.

To give notice of cancellation, do I have to use the form attached to the order confirmation email?

No, you can e.g. email the notice.

What should be considered when ordering from abroad?

Bank transfers should always be carried out as SEPA credit transfers (SCT) with IBAN and - if required by your bank - BIC. Otherwise, please select "OUR" as the fee sharing method to bear all transaction fees.

We do not charge German VAT for deliveries to non-EU countries. Instead, you may have to pay customs duty, VAT and processing fees locally. Please check with your local authorities. Our deliveries to non-EU countries are always accompanied by a declaration of the contents and value of the consignment.

I am ordering for an EU company with a VAT ID. Can I use the ID?

Yes, as long as the billing address matches the address associated with the VAT ID. Please contact us at mail@riesenmikroben.de as ordering directly through the online shop is not possible. We are obligated to verify the validity of the VAT ID in advance.
